How Kidnector collects SMS consent
Public record of the opt-in flow, for carrier and campaign reviewers. Updated September 2026.
The program
- Program name: Kidnector. Kidnector is the Question of the Day text service from Kidnections. Kidnections is a brand of Sales Monsters Inc.
- Sender: Sales Monsters Inc., texting from +1 218 475 4557.
- What is sent: one text a day with a question a parent can ask their child, at the time the parent chose. Plus a welcome text confirming the opt-in, up to three account notices near the end of a free trial, one reminder if a signup was not finished, one restart link for a returning parent, and replies to the commands SKIP, TIME, PAUSE, RESUME, STOP, HELP, and START.
- Message frequency: 1 per day.

- Privacy policy and terms. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Path 1: the web form at kidnector.com
The signup form on the home page has four short steps: the time of day, the child's age range, an email address, and last, the mobile number. The mobile number and the SMS consent checkbox are on the same final step as the only submit button. The box starts unchecked and must be checked by the parent. The form cannot be submitted without it, and no text is sent until the form is submitted.

Before public launch, the final submit answers with a "not open yet" message. The form, the wording, and the screenshot above are the live code that runs the moment signups open.
Path 2: the keyword TALK
A parent can text TALK to +1 218 475 4557. We reply once with a link to the same web form, and the parent checks the same box there. If the form is not completed we may send one reminder within 48 hours. Nothing else is sent until the form is completed.

Consent records
For every opt-in we store which version of the consent sentence the parent saw, the date and time, the IP address, and the browser type. The wording behind every version ever shown is kept so the record can always be produced.
